Justin V. Shur
Justin represents clients in their most consequential matters—high-stakes civil litigation, arbitration, white-collar defense, and crisis situations. Chambers calls him “phenomenal.” Legal 500 describes him as “creative, talented, and fearless.”
His clients include Fortune 50 companies and leading global organizations, as well as prominent individuals—CEOs, board members, and senior executives; a U.S. cabinet secretary and an ambassador; a celebrated sports figure; and an Academy Award–winning actor.
Justin advises clients facing complex investigations by prosecutors, regulators, and congressional committees—often under intense public scrutiny. He guides clients through these matters with judgment and a steady hand, protecting their businesses and mitigating legal and reputational risk. A former federal prosecutor, he is also frequently called on to lead sensitive internal investigations and manage crises where the stakes are highest.
Justin also handles high-value civil disputes for plaintiffs and defendants alike. He litigates complex commercial cases in nearly every setting, from federal and state courts to various arbitration forums.
At trial, Justin is formidable. With more than 25 years of first-chair experience, he has tried dozens of complex civil and white-collar criminal cases before juries and judges across the country. Legal 500 calls him a "masterful trial lawyer."
Before co-founding LSK, Justin was a partner at a national litigation firm for more than a decade. He previously served in the Criminal Division of the Justice Department, where he oversaw some of the nation’s most significant fraud and corruption investigations and prosecutions. He began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan.
